235 – When summer starts to feel like too much…

235 – When summer starts to feel like too much…

It’s been a little while since we’ve had a live Coffee & Connection!

I’ve been traveling and spending time with family, and while it has been wonderful, it has also been… a lot!

There have been so many things happening, so many people to be with, and so many details to keep track of, all at the same time.

And I noticed something. There were two things in particular that made such a difference in helping me manage the overwhelm, stay calmer through the busyness, and actually experience this summer as a time of connection, instead of just trying to get through everything that needed to get done.

And that’s what I want to talk about today.

If your summer has been full, busy, overwhelming, or you’ve found yourself getting caught up in everything that needs your attention, I invite you to join me for an open, honest conversation together.

233 – Can busy seasons still bring real change?

It’s hard to believe, but in just a couple of months we’ll be welcoming another year.

And every year around this time, I find myself asking a simple question:

Who do I want to be by Rosh Hashanah?

I happened to look at the calendar this week and realized we have exactly eight weeks until then.

With summer flowing straight into the chagim, I know how easy it is for those weeks to simply slip by.

But what if, instead, they became an opportunity to intentionally create the kind of marriage, and the kind of woman, you want to bring into the new year?

I invite you to join me for a real conversation about why these next eight weeks can be such a powerful opportunity to create meaningful change in our marriages – not by trying harder or waiting for life to be different, but by choosing to grow, one small step at a time.

If you’ve been longing for your relationship to feel warmer, calmer, or more connected, I hope you’ll join me.

232 – What am I waiting for?

Have you ever felt disconnected from someone you love?

And have you found yourself waiting for them to understand you, to reach out, to change, or simply to make it easier to feel close again?

Join me for a real conversation on how often we wait for connection, when perhaps the very thing we’re longing for begins by taking a step toward it.

We’ll talk about why disconnection can feel so painful, why waiting rarely creates the closeness we’re hoping for, and what it really looks like to begin creating more connection in our relationships, even when things feel hard.

231 – What if connection didn’t have to wait?

Life can really be heavy sometimes.

Between everything that’s happening around us, the responsibilities we carry, and the emotional weight so many of us are holding, it can be easy to feel like connection has to take a back seat.

Maybe you’ve thought, “Once things settle down, and I feel less overwhelmed, then I can focus on it.”

But what if connection doesn’t have to wait?

A while ago, I taught a class on creating connection even in the middle of life’s struggles.

I recently listened back to it, and I realized how relevant it feels right now.

In some ways, even more than when I first recorded it.

So today, I’d love to share it with you.

After last week’s Coffee & Connection on self-care, I received a number of questions from women that all boiled down to the same thing:

“But how do I actually take time for self-care without feeling guilty?”

This is such an important question because often it’s often the biggest obstacle to taking care of ourselves.

The voice that says we should be doing something more productive.

The feeling that everyone else’s needs should come first.

The worry that taking care of ourselves is somehow selfish.

But what if that guilt is actually preventing us from showing up as our best selves?

What if the beliefs underneath that guilt are keeping us disconnected from ourselves and, ultimately, from the people we love most?

I invite you to join me here for a real conversation on why so many women struggle with guilt around self-care, the hidden messages that fuel it, and how to shift our mindset so we can care for ourselves with greater peace, confidence, and clarity.
